ADSet Privacy Policy
This document describes the practices that make up the set of actions ADSet has established regarding how we handle, in whole or in part, the personal data of users who access our platforms. The aim is to respect and preserve the right to identity confidentiality, containing guidelines and information on how ADSet stores, collects, and uses the personal information provided and registered by customers/users to access the platforms, as well as their responsibility for safeguarding, protecting, and disclosing such information.
This privacy policy was drafted in compliance with Federal Law No. 12,965 of April 23, 2014 (Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet), and Federal Law No. 13,709 of August 14, 2018 (General Data Protection Law). It may be updated whenever necessary due to potential updates in the current legislation.
Privacy of Content Submitted by Users
All user information or personal data is stored on servers. Except for information published in classifieds integrated into ADSet platforms, ADSet will take all possible measures to maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information. However, it will not be responsible for any damages resulting from the disclosure of such information by third parties who use public networks or the internet, subverting security systems to access user information.
User Rights
ADSet is committed to complying with the regulations respecting the following principles:
The user's personal data will be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently; only for determined, explicit, and legitimate purposes, and may not be subsequently processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes (purpose limitation);
The user's personal data will be collected in a manner that is adequate, relevant, and limited to the necessities of the purposes for which they are processed (data minimization);
The user's personal data will be stored in a way that allows the identification of data subjects only for the period necessary for the purposes for which they are processed (storage limitation);
The user's personal data will be processed securely, protected from unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage, adopting appropriate technical or organizational measures (integrity and confidentiality).
Data Processing Security
ADSet is committed to applying technical and organizational measures capable of protecting personal data from unauthorized access and situations of destruction, loss, alteration, communication, or dissemination of such data.
To ensure security, solutions will be adopted that take into account: appropriate techniques; application costs; the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing; and the risks to the rights and freedoms of the user. The platforms use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificates, ensuring that personal data is transmitted securely and confidentially, so that data transmission between the server and the user, and vice versa, occurs in a fully encrypted manner. However, ADSet disclaims responsibility for the exclusive fault of third parties, such as in the case of hacker or cracker attacks, or the exclusive fault of the user, such as when they themselves transfer their data to a third party.
ADSet is also committed to informing the user within an appropriate timeframe if any type of security breach of their personal data occurs that could pose a high risk to their personal rights and freedoms.
A personal data breach is a security incident that results, accidentally or unlawfully, in the destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorized access to personal data transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed. Finally, ADSet is committed to treating the user's personal data confidentially, within legal limits.
Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use and Privacy and Data Policy are governed according to Brazilian legislation. Any disputes arising from any act carried out within the scope of the use of the platforms by Users/advertisers, including regarding non-compliance with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, will be processed in the District of Lauro de Freitas - Bahia.
